Whole Cauliflower in Sauce Recipe
This dish is remarkable because it practically does not require attention to itself. You do not need to watch and stir. And the result is a delicious taste and healthy dish. The lower part of the cabbage is stewed in tomato sauce, and the upper part is steamed!

Ingredients
- 1 kg Cauliflower
- 800 gram Tomatoes in own juice
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Garlic
- 2 piece Apple
- 1 tbsp Thyme
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Balsamic
Instructions
- Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop.
- Remove the leaves and part of the stem from the cabbage. Do not remove the entire stem, otherwise the fork will fall apart. Chop the leaves and stem.
- The size of the pot in which you will cook should be slightly larger than the size of a fork of cabbage. Pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and fry the onion, garlic and the stem with the leaves until soft.
- Add cumin and grated apples, leave for a couple of minutes on the fire. Then pour the tomatoes in their own juice, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
- Place the forks in a saucepan, the sauce should reach half of the fork. Pour the remaining olive oil over the cabbage. Close the lid and keep on low heat for 40 minutes.
