A Dessert made of Whole Wheat Flour with Custard Recipe
To cook a delicious dessert made with whole wheat flour and oatmeal. Maybe someone will need a recipe for such baking, recently I decided to fill up the cookbook with such desserts, as I tend to replace in everyday life wheat flour of the highest grade with wholegrain.

Ingredients
- 100 gram Whole wheat flour
- 35 gram Oat flakes quick cooking
- 2 pieces Chicken eggs
- 50 gram Sugar
- 15 gram Corn starch
- 0,25 pack Vanilin
- 2 tablespoons Sugar powder
- 50 gram Black currant fresh frozen
- 330 ml Milk 30g in the dough,300 g of cream
Instructions
- We will prepare the necessary products.
- Separate the yolks from the whites.
- Knead the dough, first mix the powdered sugar and oat flakes, add 30 grams of milk, let it stand for 15 minutes, the flakes will soften, add 2 proteins, flour, mix thoroughly.
- Put the dough in a silicone mold with a diameter of 20 mm. Make small sides of 2 cm, prick the dough with a fork and put it in the oven for 15 minutes, bake at 180 degrees.
- At this time, we will make a custard.
- In a saucepan with a thick bottom, put two yolks, starch and sugar, add 300 ml of milk and mix well.
- Put on medium heat and stir continuously until thickened.
- This will take no more than 5 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, remove the cake from the oven.
- Pour the cream cake.
- Sprinkle with fresh frozen berries and put in the oven for another 20 minutes.
- Here is such a dessert turned out. Put it in the refrigerator, let it stand for a couple of hours, the cake will soften a little more. Baking from wholemeal flour turns out to be peculiar, quite dense. But with oatmeal, it's a little tastier, looser.

When I saw the pie in the cut, I initially thought that the cake was not baked, but I liked the white inclusions, since baking with wholemeal flour turns out dark, and with flakes a little more interesting. The pie with wholemeal flour was baked, and with custard it turned out to be a good delicious dessert. Oat flakes can be ground or take oat flour, then get a lighter tone of the cake and the cake will not be so dense.
