Braised Chickpeas with Vegetables Recipe
I want to share a simple recipe, but the dish turns out delicious and satisfying. This is one of my favorite lean dishes. I tried it for the first time in Turkey, we served it at the hotel, and since then I have been cooking it at home.

Ingredients
- 100 gram Chickpea
- 200 gram Tomato
- 200 gram Bulgarian pepper
- 100 gram Carrot
- 50 gram Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- Allspice to taste
- Chili pepper (at the tip of the knife)
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Soak chickpeas overnight in cold water, and then boil in 3 waters. Let it boil, drain the water, and so on three times. We do this in order to avoid undesirable consequences after eating legumes.
- Finely chop tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, garlic, carrots, grate on a coarse grater.
- Fry the onion in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add the remaining vegetables, simmer until tender, at this stage you can add 1 tbsp ketchup.
- Add boiled chickpeas to the finished vegetables, season with salt and pepper, add suneli hops and simmer all together for another 5 minutes, add chopped greens.
