Okroshka is Traditional Russian on Kvass Recipe
I bring to your attention the okroshka, which was prepared by more than one generation of our family and I continue the tradition and want to share this recipe. Although I think this is a traditional recipe for okroshka on kvass.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch Dill
- 1 bunch Green onions
- 6 pieces Radish
- 5 pieces Cucumber
- 3 pieces Chicken eggs
- 1 piece Chicken breast
- 3 pieces Potatoes
- 250 gram Sour cream
- 1 liter Kvass The quantity depends on the preferred density
Instructions

- Chop the dill and green onions finely and chop with a salt grinder until the juice is released.
- Grate two radishes and one cucumber on a coarse grater.
- Boil the chicken breast, potatoes and eggs in advance and cool, cut into small cubes, the remaining cucumbers, radishes also cut. Add sour cream, mix.
- Pour the okroshka with kvass. For piquancy, we usually fill the okroshka with two types of kvass: dark rye 50/50 and white rye with horseradish.
- Let it brew for at least 2 hours.
