Ingredients
- 250 gram Herring (Ready-to-fillet in brine)
- 2 pieces Beet (Ready-made vacuum bag)
- 1 piece Potato
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1 piece Onion
- 140 gram Yogurt (Greek or natural, can be dense kefir.)
- 0.5 teaspoons Horseradish
- 1 clove Garlic
- 0.3 teaspoons Lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash potatoes and carrots and boil in a uniform. The cooled vegetables are cleaned and grated on a coarse grater.
- I don't like to mess with beets, I buy them already boiled in a vacuum bag, they are always sweet and delicious. Grate the finished beets on a coarse grater.
- Grate the onion on a coarse grater, squeeze out the excess juice.
- Cut the herring fillet into small cubes.
- For salad dressing, I will use a sauce for which I mix yogurt (you can replace it with yogurt), garlic, pressed, salt, lemon juice and horseradish. Combine everything in a bottle, shake well, so that the sauce turns out homogeneous. My husband prefers ordinary mayonnaise, children's mayonnaise is creamy, and I filled myself, my beloved, only with this sauce).
- Combine the grated vegetables with the salmon, mix. The base of the salad is ready.
- Season the salad immediately before serving, on top, if desired, you can decorate with egg grated on a fine grater.
