Spicy Pickled Cherries Recipe
Marinated cherries are a very tasty appetizer for cheese, dry wine, baked meat or poultry. Such cherries can be decorated with meat rolls, salads, canapes. It is not difficult to cook it, you just have to wait at least a week until the cherries are marinated.

Ingredients
- 250 grram Cherries
- 130 ml Water
- 130 ml Vinegar (6%)
- 2 slices Ginger
- 1 slice Chili pepper 1-2 rings or to taste
- 1 piece Bay leaf
- 2 pieces Allspice (peas)
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- 0,5 teaspoons Coriander in grains
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients for the appetizer. Wash the cherries and cut the stalks in half. All the ingredients are given for about a half-liter jar.
- Put the spices in a jar (or other suitable container), then fill it with cherries.
- Prepare the marinade. To do this, combine the salt, sugar, water and vinegar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Fill the jar with cherries with hot marinade.
- Allow the contents of the jar to cool, then store in the refrigerator. You can try the snack in 1-2 weeks.
- Serve pickled cherries as an appetizer with cheese and wine. This cherry looks spectacular as a decoration for baked meat or poultry.
