Tofu with Seafood in Chinese Recipe
Tofu dishes are very popular in our Chinese cuisine in the Far East. Last week we all had dinner at a Chinese cafe, among others there was this dish. Of course, the exact recipe is unknown to me, but knowing the basics of Chinese cuisine, I dare to offer it to you in this version.

Cook Time 20 minutes
Instructions
- Take the tofu, cut into 1.5-2 cm pieces.
- Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides, transfer to a plate.
- We take carrots and cucumber, cut into strips, and then into lozenges, this is the kind of slicing that is popular in Chinese cuisine.
- In a frying pan with the remaining oil, where the tofu was fried, put the carrots, fry for a couple of minutes, then the cucumber, fry for one minute. In Chinese cuisine, vegetables remain half-cooked, crispy.
- Add any seafood or sea cocktail to the vegetables. I have octopus, mussels, squid and shrimp. Stir and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add finely chopped garlic.
- Prepare the dressing sauce. Mix soy sauce, water, sugar and starch
- Pour the sauce over the vegetables with seafood, stir, the sauce will thicken immediately, simmer, stirring, for 1 minute.
- Add the fried tofu, stir, let it brew for a couple of minutes and soak in the aroma and taste of tofu.
- When serving, sprinkle with green onion feathers. It can be served as a hot or cold appetizer, as well as as a main course. Enjoy your meal!
