Vegetables with Minced Meat and Rice in a Pan Recipe
I don't even know what to call this dish. The cooking technology is similar to "Lazy cabbage rolls", only instead of cabbage, bell pepper. You can say that this is a vegetable stew with minced meat and rice. But whatever you call it, it's delicious, beautiful, healthy, flavorful, perfect for a family lunch or dinner.

Ingredients
- 400 gram Minced meat
- 100 gram Rice
- 2 pieces Bulgarian pepper
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Carrot
- 2 tablespoons Sour cream
- 100 ml Broth or water
- 1 bunch Greens
- 200 gram Tomato or tomatoes in juice, or tomato sauce
- 2 pieces Bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash the rice, pour water to cover the rice, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat until half cooked. At the same time, pour oil into a hot pan, put the minced meat and fry until Golden. I have ground Turkey.
- Vegetables are cleaned and washed. Onions cut into small cubes, carrots three on a grater or finely cut, put to the fried minced meat. Stir and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Pepper is cleaned, cut into cubes, hot pepper rings. I took yellow and red pepper for beauty.
- Put the pepper to the minced meat in the pan, stir, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Tomatoes are punched with a blender or scalded and finely cut.
- Put the chopped tomatoes in the pan, add salt, sugar, pepper.
- Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Put the rice in the pan. Stir.
- Mix sour cream with water or broth. Fill the vegetables with minced meat and rice.
- Stir, put the Bay leaf. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Put the chopped herbs (I have dill) and garlic. Stir.
- Turn off the fire, let the dish brew for 10 minutes.
- Serve the dish hot.
