Fragrant Mulled Wine for Every Taste Recipe
Yes... If it's cold in Greece, then I can imagine how cold it is here! I suggest you warm up on a cold winter evening with this fragrant hot mulled wine. I made a soft drink for myself, and splashed some brandy for my husband and added pink pepper to the mug. Well, let's drink it together with an unusually delicious cake, or what?! Ingredients
- 600 gram Cherries juice cherries
- 40 ml Berry syrup black currant
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 piece Star anise
- 3 pieces Carnation
- 10 gram Raisins black pitted
- 1 piece Orange
- 1 piece Lemon
- 1 piece Tangerine
- 1 piece Apple
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- 4 pieces Cinnamon for table layout
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients for the mulled wine.
- Cut the orange, tangerine and lemon into slices. Cut the apples into pieces. Mix the juice, syrup, spices (except cinnamon), raisins, citrus fruits and apples and mix. Heat to 80-90 °C, but do not bring to a boil. Add honey. Pour into a container with a lid and let it brew a little.
- Serve with a cinnamon stick and apple slices. The husband can splash 1 tablespoon of cognac (rum or whiskey) and add pink pepper.
