Chocolate Cake with Cherries, Nuts and Spices Recipe

Ingredients
- 300 gram Cherries pitted, fresh, canned or frozen
- 1 teaspoon Starch
- 100 gram Dark chocolate
- 4 pieces Chicken eggs
- 150 gram Butter soft
- 150 gram Sugar
- 100 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 100 gram Almonds or ground hazelnuts
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon Allspice ground
- 1 teaspoon Orange zest
- 2 teaspoons Cacao powder
Instructions
- In the soft butter, add about 100 grams of sugar. Well grind the butter with white sugar.
- In a deep bowl, break 4 eggs. Beat them with a mixer in a lush foam with the remaining sugar-about 50 grams.
- In the egg mass, spread the butter. Pour out the melted dark chocolate. Mix gently.
- Add the orange zest, ground hazelnuts. Sift the flour together with baking powder and cocoa powder. In addition, add ground allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg.
- Knead the dough well. It should have the consistency of thick sour cream.
- Pour the dough into a form greased with oil and lined with parchment paper. We level it out.
- Cherries without seeds are sprinkled with starch.
- Spread the cherries on top of the dough. Lightly press them in. We send it to the preheated oven to 180 degrees for about 50 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer.
