Ingredients
Pancakes:
- 300 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 150 gram Corn flour
- 300 ml Milk
- 5 pieces Chicken eggs
- 5 teaspoon Sugar
- 4 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Pate:
- 1000 gram Chicken liver
- 2 pieces Carrot
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 30 ml Cognac to taste
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the carrots and onions into small pieces.
- Fry the vegetables in a mixture of butter and vegetable oil (until tender).
- Add the liver peeled from the films and fry on high heat.
- Add salt and pepper to the hot liver, add brandy.
- Add the honey and mix. In hot products, the alcohol from the cognac will evaporate.
- Grind everything with an immersion blender to a homogeneous consistency.
- I will not tell you how to make pancakes, there are many good recipes on the site with a step-by-step description. I baked pancakes in a frying pan with a diameter of 28 cm. And my cake mold is 23/14 and 6 cm deep. We line the form with pancakes leaving free edges.
- We spread a part of the pate. Another layer of pancakes. The number of layers can be increased by making the layers of pate a little thinner and adding a layer of pancakes.
- We close the last layer of pate with free edges.
- We put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- The cooled pate holds its shape well, but at the same time it has a very delicate consistency.
