Ingredients
Dough:
- 100 gram Sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon Vanilin
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 piece Chicken egg large + 1 yolk
- 6 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 200 gram Flour wheat / Flour how much will take
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
Filling:
- 200 gram Cherries I took the cherries and previously removed the bones, washed and dried on a paper towel. If you do not want to mess with the bones, you can take other berries
Instructions
- Mix sugar, vanilla, salt, egg + yolk and mix thoroughly. Add butter and lemon zest, mix, then add flour with baking powder and knead a soft dough. You may need less flour, the main thing is to achieve the desired consistency.
- Grease the mold with butter, roll out the dough, I prefer to spread the dough directly into the mold. Beat the eggs with a mixer until foam forms, then add sugar in parts and beat until stable peaks.
- Now the meringue should be put on the dough, you can just use a spoon, but I put it in a pastry bag and squeezed out a "cloud" with a nozzle. Now put cherries in each cloud. Put in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25 minutes. Focus on the characteristics of your oven. After baking, leave the pie in the oven for another 7 minutes.
- A delicate, airy cake, a creamy layer is obtained inside between the shortbread dough and meringue. The dough turns out just great, with notes of citrus, very tasty.
