Stewed Vegetables with Beans and Meat Recipe
Vegetables: sweet potatoes; turnips; potatoes; onions; carrots and red beans in tomato, stewed with pork. A hearty, rich, bright and very tasty hot dish, despite the fact that it is prepared quite simply and quickly. Any beginner in cooking can handle this dish.

Ingredients
- 300 gram Pork with fat, you can take any meat including poultry
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Sweet potato 350g
- 1 piece Turnip 8-10 cm in diameter
- 1 piece Potato large
- 1 jar Canned beans the red in tomato sauce
- 0,5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper or to taste
- 4 pieces Allspice (peas)
- 2 pieces Bay leaf
- 200 ml Water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- For this dish, I'll take pork with bacon. This is done so that no oil is used in the dish. Cut the pork into small pieces and put it in a saucepan. Put it on the fire and let the fat melt a little. Add finely chopped garlic and onion to the meat, cut into half rings. Just a little fried.
- Grate the carrots on a medium grater and add them to the same place. Fry a little more and pour 200 ml of water. Brought to a boil, turned down the heat, covered with a lid and simmered on low heat for 20 minutes.
- Peel sweet potatoes, turnips and potatoes. Cut all the vegetables into small cubes. We send potatoes to the saucepan first. I stew it for 10 minutes. Then I laid out turnips and sweet potatoes. It will take 10-15 minutes to cook these vegetables. I stewed the vegetables until tender and put the beans in a whole jar of tomato sauce.
- Of the spices, I will add cayenne pepper, allspice and bay leaf to the dish. Mix everything, add salt to taste and simmer for another 5 minutes.
