Borscht in Slow Cooker Recipe
Now it has become customary to cook in a slow cooker, and there are not so many recipes, even traditional ones. I decided to cook my favorite borscht in a slow cooker, it turned out even tastier than in a saucepan..If you have a slow cooker, try to cook this soup. It's very tasty.

Ingredients
- 300 gram Meat on bone, can be any, I took pork
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Carrot
- 2 pieces Tomatoes
- 1 piece Bulgarian pepper
- 4 pieces Potatoes
- 200 gram Cabbage
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 piece Beetroot
- 3 tablespoons Tomato paste
- Lemon juice
- Olive oil
- Seasoning
Instructions
- Cut the meat into pieces as you like, I cut into cubes.
- In the "baking" mode, fry in oil for 20 minutes.
- Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
- Grate the beets on a coarse grater.
- Slice the tomato the way you like.
- Chop the onion along with the carrots to add to the meat (fry for about 15 minutes).
- Cut Bulgarian pepper into cubes and also fry in a slow cooker, fry (about 15 minutes)
- Also add tomatoes and tomato paste (simmer for 10 minutes).
- Add the beets there too and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Squeeze out the garlic.
- Add seasonings.
- Chop the potatoes and cabbage, mix well.
- Add salt, fill with water and turn on the "quenching" mode for 1 hour.
