Salad "Simple" Recipe
A long time ago I found this recipe on the Internet and now, finally, it's on our holiday table! To be honest, I have made my own changes and additions. Now, by the decision of the family council, this salad falls into the category - favorite and festive!
Servings 6
Cook Time 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 pieces Beet
- 3 pieces Carrot
- 3 pieces Potato
- 3 tablespoons Green Onion
- 200 gram Green peas (canned)
- 100 gram Marinade cucumber
- 250 gram Beef tongue (boiled)
- Mayonnaise
- 100 ml Water
- 1/3 teaspoons Cane sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Instructions
- Boil the carrots, potatoes and beets and peel them. Cool completely. Cut into small pieces. Add the onion. First I cut the beets and add 1 tablespoon of oil and a little lemon juice, mix and leave for 10 minutes. This will not color the rest of the ingredients so intensely.
- Add the sliced boiled tongue and peas.
- Dressing: Dissolve salt and sugar in water, add butter and whisk everything with a fork.
- Pour the dressing over the salad, pepper to taste with black pepper and mix well. Put the salad to marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Add the sliced cucumbers to the salad and mix.
- I liked the salad in this form, so I put half of the salad in another salad bowl and added a couple of tablespoons of oil.
- Fill the second half with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Both options are just a fairy tale.
