Ingredients
Mince:
- 500 gram Minced meat I have pork and beef
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 glass Rice boiled until half cooked, glass 250 ml
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Seasoning to taste
Sauce:
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Carrot
- 500 gram Tomato
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Seasoning to taste
Serve:
- Sour cream to taste
- Greens to taste
Additionally:
- 5 pieces Bulgarian peppers
- 100 gram Cheese hard
Instructions
- Prepare the filling. Grind 1 onion in a blender, add to the minced meat, add salt, ground black pepper and spices to taste. Stir, add 1 cup of rice, boiled until half cooked, and stir. Whisk the filling. Put that aside.
- Prepare the sauce. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry until light golden brown in vegetable oil. Chop tomatoes with garlic in a blender. Pour to the onions and carrots, add salt, sugar and ground black pepper to taste. After boiling, cook for 1-2 minutes. The sauce is ready.
- Wash the pepper. Cut off the tail with scissors. Cut the pepper in half and remove the stalk with the seeds only inside the pepper.
- Stuff the peppers. In a baking dish, spread 1/2 part of the sauce, evenly distribute, spread the stuffed pepper, pour the remaining sauce, cover with foil and send it to a preheated 180 degree oven for 45-50 minutes, look at your oven. I only have the bottom heating.
- 5 minutes before cooking, remove the foil. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
