Tortilla with Apples in a Pan Recipe
The other day I went to the vegetable store, and taaaam such an aroma of late autumn apples, like in an Apple orchard! This fragrance turned my head, I really wanted Apple pies, but I didn't have time to do them, so I got an improvisation on the theme...

Cook Time 90 minutes
Ingredients
Dough:
- 12 gram Yeast
- 160 ml Milk
- 50 ml Water
- 2 tablespoons Sour cream
- 1,5 tablespoons Sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- 300 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 25 gram Butter
Instructions
- To prepare the dough, dilute the raw yeast and 2 tsp sugar in warm water until completely dissolved. Add a little flour and stir. If the yeast is active, bubbles will appear after a short time, you can knead the dough. Add warm milk, salt, remaining sugar, sour cream, mix well, add sifted flour, knead the dough with a spoon. Add the melted butter. Mix again.
- Continue kneading with your hands. The dough should be soft, if it sticks to your hands - brush with vegetable oil.
- Cover the well-kneaded dough and leave it warm to rise, about 30-40 minutes.
- The dough has doubled in volume, the work surface and hands to lubricate with vegetable oil, put the dough out of the bowl, divide into a suitable amount, I divided into four parts. Each part is crushed and rolled into bulls. Lightly oil, cover with cling film, let the dough rest and rise.
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling. RUB the egg yolks with sugar and rice flour/starch, add a little sour cream, mix, then add the rest of the sour cream. If the apples are not sweet enough, add more sugar.
- Peel the apples from the seed pods, RUB them with large "shavings", squeeze out the juice and mix well with the egg-sour cream mixture.
- Now form a tortilla from each bun of dough, stretching it with your hands to the desired diameter, my tortillas have 16-17 cm, and the thickness is 1 cm.
- Heat the pan well, pour in a little vegetable oil, just cover the bottom. Lower the dough to the hot oil. It is necessary to "burn" it a little and immediately turn it over.
- On medium heat, bake the bottom, turn it over and
- apply a quarter of the filling to the entire surface of the tortilla. Reduce the fire.
- Cover and bake on low heat for 5 minutes. Watch the temperature so that the bottom does not burn.
- The filling should "brew". Transfer the tortilla to a paper towel. Do the same with the rest of the dough and filling.
- Sprinkle the finished tortillas with powdered sugar and cinnamon, or pour honey or topping. The filling is soft, creamy, the aroma of apples and cinnamon invigorates and pleases.
- Cut into portions and serve with tea, coffee, and milk is also delicious.
- Bon Appetit!!!
