Galette “Briam” with Greek Vegetable Stew Recipe

|

Briam is a vegetable stew baked with feta. I brought the recipe for this stew from Greece a few years ago, since then I have been cooking regularly. This time I decided to experiment and put it to the test. The result exceeded all my expectations! Very harmonious, delicious and bright in spring! The dough turns out crispy and soft, the vegetables are juicy and rich, feta gives the dish a zest. The dish turns out to be quite low-calorie and healthy. The dough is in vegetable oil, instead of cream, and the filling consists of almost the same vegetables.

Galette with Cottage Cheese and Figs Recipe

I saw these biscuits on the cover of a magazine and couldn’t resist! The magazine was bought, and, slightly changing the recipe, we made these biscuits for breakfast. Very tasty and beautiful pastries turned out, ruddy cookies with cottage cheese and fruit – like the sun on a cloudy morning. Replacing part of the flour with oat bran, we add more benefits to our diet, but it is important to remember – flour / tasty / sweet is eaten in the morning))) By the way, figs are rarely found, pears can be replaced with cinnamon, nectarine or plum.

I looked through the recipes of galette, but I did not meet this, basically the recipe for the flour-butter-ice water dough, I have a different recipe, so I decided to offer it to your court. Our family loves this kind of biscuits with different fillings, sweet and with cabbage. This option is summer – the cherry in baking is a little bland, so I added apples and freshly frozen cherries – it turned out very juicy and delicious in combination with a crispy and tender base.
