Insanely delicious galette from lean dough, in my case - with Apple and onion filling! This galette has a lot of advantages: a minimum set of products, the lack of butter and eggs, with the dough to work very nice and convenient, and of course - an incredible number of options fillings!
From the specified number of ingredients is obtained two biscuits! Today I cooked from the norm - a galette.
Mix oil with hot (almost boiling) water.
Sift flour with salt and baking powder in a bowl with water and oil. Knead dough. Leave for half an hour to rest.
While the dough is resting prepare the filling: onions cut into small cubes, apples, peel and cut as well. Onions fry in butter, add apples, a couple of minutes to sweat to become soft. This is done.
Grate the cheese.
Half an hour passed.
Roll out the dough on a baking sheet (in the form of a circle with a diameter of 30-40cm approximately). There is no need to lubricate the baking sheet - there is enough oil in the dough.
In the center of the spread Apple and onion filling, distribute the dough, leaving the edges of a few cm free.
Sprinkle the filling with cheese.
Fold the free edges of the dough (folds) on the filling, leaving open only a small hole in the center. To grease with a yolk.
Foil to form a "conditional range" and cover them with the stuffing.
Send in the oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the biscuits are ready! Remove from the oven and leave for 10-15 minutes to cool slightly. And enjoy!
