Cook Time 90 minutes
Ingredients
For the dough:
- 200 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 100 gram Sour cream
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 1 teaspoon Sugar powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 60 gram Butter
Additional:
- 1 pack Cream custard chocolate cream
- 180 ml Milk for cream
- 1 teaspoon Lemon acid
- Water for soaking apples
- 1 piece Chicken egg for applying on the apples before baking
- 100 gram Butter for the cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flour (200 gr.) and baking powder (1 teaspoon). Mix the dry ingredients.
- Next, add the soft butter (60 gr.). Chop the flour and butter into small crumbs.
- Next, add 1 pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar.
- Next, add the egg (1 PC.)
- Next, add 100 gr. sour cream. Knead a soft plastic dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- While the dough is cooling, let's start preparing the Apple filling. Apples (5 PCs.) peel, remove the core with a special knife to remove the core of the fruit. Place the apples in a solution of water and citric acid. In an acidic environment, the apples will retain their color and will not darken.
- Take the dough out of the freezer and roll it out into a layer 3-4 mm thick. Cut into strips about 1.5-2 cm wide. dry the Apples with a paper towel, cover the apples with sugar.
- Next, wrap the spiral apples with strips of dough, starting from the bottom,
- the tip of the strip of dough to fill in the hole in the bottom of the Apple.
- Place the apples on a baking sheet, grease with beaten egg and send them to a preheated 190C oven for baking. Bake until Golden brown.
- Cream: I Want to draw attention to the fact that I deviated from the instructions for preparing the cream and reduced the amount of milk to 180 ml. Add 180 ml of cold milk to a bowl, then add a packet of custard chocolate cream. Stir the mixture.
- Put the mixture on a low heat and, with constant stirring, thicken the cream. Cool the cream to room temperature, then add soft butter (100) gr. beat the Cream with a mixer.
- Sprinkle the finished dessert with powdered sugar. In the middle of each Apple, add the custard chocolate cream.
- Pleasant and delicious tea parties at the family holiday table!
