Potatoes with Smoked Meat Recipe
A hearty dinner dish for the whole family. We are always happy to see sausages or something smoked on the table. Here I liked the use of cabbage, which, oddly enough, took first place among my men. It is convenient to cook in the manner of "pots": fell asleep and wait for cooking! Replaced the onion with leek.

Cook Time 90 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 pieces Potatoes
- 1 piece Leek
- 3 pieces Carrots
- 400 gram Sausage
- 350 gram Pork smoked cheek
- 1 tablespoon Seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 glass Water
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 piece Cabbage
- Sour cream for serve
- Greens to taste
Instructions
- Cut the leek in half, then lengthwise to rinse inside.
- Cut and half put on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Do not cut the potatoes into small cubes.
- From smoked meats, take a pork cheek and sausages. Or brisket... smoked ribs.
- We put a large piece on the onion, pour potatoes next to it.
- Sprinkle with any seasonings. I have it with bay leaf, herbs, salt, pepper. Or just 2-3 bay leaves, salt, pepper.
- Lay out a layer of carrot circles.
- Now the sausages.
- Chop the remaining part of the onion as desired.
- Take a small fork of young cabbage.
- Coarsely chop.
- Cover with the last layer. Pour a glass of water, sprinkle with vegetable oil on top. Sprinkle with a mixture of peppers.
- Before cooking, put in a preheated 200 * C oven for an hour with a fan or a little more.
- I covered it with a glass lid. If the cabbage sticks strongly on top, you can put a sheet of parchment under the lid.
- Unfortunately, there is no general view of the finished dish, since I ran away to work, and my people took a sample. Their fried cabbage went with a bang!
- The rest is vegetables and sausages to serve on a common dish or in portions. Sprinkle sour cream with herbs and serve side by side.
