Ingredients
For the dough:
- 400 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 100 gram Butter
- 180 gram Sugar
- 1 pack Vanilla sugar
- 100 gram Sour cream
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
For decor:
- 100 gram Dark chocolate
- 30 gram White chocolate
- 1 piece Egg white
- 180 gram Sugar powder
- 2 teaspoons Poppy seeds
Instructions
- Put butter at room temperature (100 g) in a bowl, add sugar (180 g).
- Then add sour cream (100 gr.). Mix well.
- Add an egg (1 pc.)
- In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients for the dough: flour (400 g), salt (1 pinch), vanilla sugar (1 pack), baking powder (1 tsp). Mix the mixture. Mix the creamy egg mixture and the dry ingredients. Knead a soft plastic dough.
- Divide the dough into four parts and put it in the cold for 1-1.5 hours. In the future, it will be easier for you to work with cold dough.
- Roll one part of the dough into a bundle and divide it into equal parts. Roll each piece into a ball, then, gradually pulling the ball, form a cone from it.
- From the second part of the dough, form balls in which, with the help of a pastry cream nozzle, make depressions.
- If you do not have such a nozzle, you can make indentations in the caps with a teaspoon or cutting tools, or other suitable tools.
- Place the legs of the future mushrooms on a baking sheet covered with baking paper or parchment paper for baking. Send the baking sheet to a preheated 180-190 * c oven the size of a baking dish.
- Do the same with the caps of future mushrooms.
- Bake the legs and caps until golden brown.

- Pour egg white (1 pc.) into a bowl, add powdered sugar. Mix well until the powdered sugar is completely dissolved. The mixture should have a thick, viscous consistency.
- Using a pastry bag, pour some powdered sugar into the recesses of the caps. Connect, slightly pressing, the mushroom legs and caps.
- Cover the mushroom legs with the remaining powdered sugar, then sprinkle with poppy seeds. Leave to dry.
- Melt dark (100 g) and white chocolate (30 g) in a water bath. Cover the mushroom caps with melted chocolate. As a decoration, if desired, you can prepare leaves and flowers from sugar paste to decorate mushrooms. This option is possible if you want to cook them as a gift.
