Cottage Cheese Pie with Apple and Nuts Recipe
I suggest making a cottage cheese pie with apples and a crunchy nut crust. It turns out very tasty with sweet and sour apples. The structure of the cake itself is slightly moist thanks to the apples, and on top is a delicious cinnamon-nut "cap".

Ingredients
- 200 gram Sugar +2 tbsp for sprinkling
- 3 pieces Chicken eggs
- 200 gram Cottage cheese
- 230 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 100 gram Butter
- 0,3 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pinch Vanilin
- 3 pieces Apples
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 70 gram Walnuts
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 15 gram Baking powder
Instructions
- Beat the sugar and eggs with a mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Melt the butter to the consistency of sour cream. I had low-fat cottage cheese in grains, so I whipped it with an immersion blender until smooth.
- Add the cottage cheese and butter to the whipped mass and whisk everything well.
- Sift the flour with baking powder, add to a bowl and quickly knead the dough.
- Walnuts, sugar (2 tbsp.l.) and cinnamon are crushed in a blender or meat grinder into crumbs.
- Peel and cut the apples into small cubes, add lemon juice and mix.
- In the form (d = 22) cm, spread the dough, put half of the apples on top, press them slightly into the dough, then add the second part of the apples.
- Sprinkle the pie with nut crumbs, lightly press it down.
- Bake in the oven at 180 g. for about 1 hour. After 10 minutes of baking, cover the mold with foil so that the nut crumbs do not burn.
