On cloudy autumn days, the need for hot drinks increases by a multiple. And so that the mood is not gloomy, you can always treat yourself and friends with a couple of warming cocktails — based on coffee, tea or alcohol.
Among soft drinks, the “Honey raff” is the most popular. It is prepared very simply and does not require many ingredients, including espresso or hard-brewed coffee (30-50 ml), honey (1 teaspoon), cream with a fat content of 10-15% (100 ml) and cinnamon (to taste). Next, we will need to heat the cream to 60 degrees C. We prepare coffee and add honey to it, stir until dissolved. Combine coffee and cream, beat the mixture until foam appears. Pour it into a glass or ceramic cup. Sprinkle with cinnamon and immediately serve the cocktail hot.
Among alcoholic beverages in the world, the British “Punch” is popular, which includes the following ingredients: rum (170 ml), water (370 ml), sugar (1.5 tablespoons), lemon, black tea (1 teaspoon), karkade (1 tablespoon), cardamom (3 pcs) and carnation (3 pieces). In addition to the mulled wine, grog and Irish coffee already listed by us, rum-based punch is especially popular among modern drinks in European countries. To prepare it, mix the tea leaves with spices. Heat the water (not to boiling water) and add the mixture to it. Close the lid, let it brew for 15-20 minutes. At this time, cut the lemon into slices. Strain the tea through a fine strainer, sequentially add rum, sugar, squeezed juice of half a lemon to it. Cook the resulting mixture for about 15 minutes (do not boil). The finished drink is immediately served to the table, decorated with lemon slices.
Recommendation: if you do not like alcohol, punch can be prepared not on rum, but on strong black tea with the addition of fruit and berry juice.
