- Now you need to puree the soup. Since I have a saucepan with a coating and in order not to spoil it with an immersion blender, I will pour the cooked vegetables into another bowl and puree. Then I will send it back to the saucepan, add a dollop of cream, bring the soup to a boil and remove it from the heat.
