This salad comes from student times, when all the recipes were written down in a special notebook (I think this is familiar to many). There is no notebook for a long time, and the salad still pleases with its taste. It’s fresh, light and doesn’t bother you at all. With all the simplicity of preparation and composition in the pomegranate season, this salad always takes its place on our festive table.
Fillet of any white fish is suitable for this dish. The addition of saffron and a “pillow” of pomegranate makes it even more noble. It’s delicious, beautiful and festive! With a small amount of time, it turns out to be an excellent hot dish for a special occasion.
Just a little bit of your work and time, and a festive portion of baked cod is on the table. Do not be lazy, we will please our dear guests during the New Year holidays.
I propose to serve dolma as a hot dish on the New Year’s table! This dolma recipe refers to dishes of proper nutrition, not high-calorie and very tasty. The magnificent taste of this dish will complement the sauce of white walnut and pomegranate seeds.
A very unusual side dish will surprise your family and will look very impressive on the table. Instead of couscous, you can take rice, bulgur or quinoa. Coriander, mint or thyme greens will complement the taste of this side dish.
I do not know how Georgian the recipe is, but I met the salad in Georgia – that’s for sure. And it’s very popular there. It is very convenient to take a salad with you to nature in a jar. It goes well with meat and barbecue.
