Fragrant Cakes on Kefir Recipe
Easter tables are served generously and with great love, for dear guests, on a bright occasion. Bake meat, poultry or fry kebabs - a holiday, spring... Christ is Risen!!! And I suggest baking cakes, fragrant - very clean: with coriander and fennel, cumin and anise, garlic and green onions. P.S.: The recipe explains why soda and baking powder are used together.

Cook Time 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 600 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 330 milliliters Kefir
- 2 pieces Egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 60 gram Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Anise
- 1 teaspoon Dill seed
- 1 teaspoon Coriander
- 1 te Zira
- 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
- 5 twigs Green onions
- 3 twigs Dill
Instructions
- Kefir dough is perfectly loosened with soda, but a large amount of it can leave a soda taste in the finished product, so 1 tsp of baking powder will replace 0.5 tsp of soda, a professional cook shared this secret with me a long time ago. Knead the dough in a convenient way for you: in the baking master program in a food processor or manually. Add yolks, salt and soda to warm kefir.
- Flour + baking powder for dough, sugar, vegetable oil, garlic powder and seeds. You can take them separately, according to your taste. Pre-fry the seeds in a dry frying pan, cool and lightly grind in a mortar. This will enhance the flavor of the cakes. Add finely chopped green onions and dill.
- Knead the dough, divide into 10-12 equal parts. Roll into balls, cover with a film.
- Flatten the floured balls into small cakes. Fold the stack.
- Preheat the frying pan, brush with vegetable oil. Roll out the blanks up to 25-28 cm thick.
- Bake the cakes on medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
- To a beautiful blush on each side. Lubricate the mold with oil before each tortilla.
- Serve hot.
