Pie with Cottage Cheese, Brynza and Sausages Recipe
If you like unsweetened pastries, I recommend you to try a pie with cottage cheese, cheese and sausages. It is not difficult to prepare such a pie. It will serve as an addition to lunch, dinner or a delicious and hearty Breakfast! The highlight of the pie is that its sides are a surprise.

Ingredients
Dough:
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 15 gram Yeast fresh
- 1 tablespoon Sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- 50 gram Butter
- 370 gram Flour wheat / Flour +-30g
- 150 ml Milk
Filling:
- 200 gram Cottage cheese
- 150 gram Bryndza Cheese
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 10 gram Green Onion
- 6 pieces Cherry tomatoes
- 6 slices Cheese melted
- 1 clove Garlic
- 250 gram Sausage
Additionally:
- 20 gram Butter
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon Flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Warm milk mixed with yeast and sugar.
- Leave for 10-15 minutes. in a warm place until the cap appears.
- I will knead the dough in a bread maker. Pour the milk and yeast into the bread maker bucket, add the egg, sour cream, salt, and melted butter.
- Sifted flour.
- Knead dough.
- Leave the dough in a warm place, covered with a towel, for 30-40 minutes. for lifting. I leave it in the bread maker. Then again remove the dough and leave it in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
- Then roll out the dough in a circle and cover it with a baking dish (diameter 28 cm) so that the edges of the dough hang over the sides. If necessary, cover the form with baking paper or foil, grease 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
- Sausage cut in half and wrap each half in melted cheese.
- Arrange the wrapped sausages around the edges of the mold. Cover them with the dough, thus forming the sides. If there is too much dough, you can trim it. I have a little dough left, so I made a sausage in the dough.
- Then pour the curd into a bowl.
- Add the cheese, egg and garlic, squeezed through a press.
- Puree with an immersion blender until smooth.
- Wash the onion, chop it finely and add it to the filling, mix it.
- Spread the filling in the center of the pie. Wash the cherry tomatoes and spread them over the filling, drowning them in it.
- Grease the sides with vegetable oil or milk, or yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds and flax seeds. Cook in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, 35-40 minutes. before the sides are browned. After the pie is removed from the mold, grease the sides with melted butter (20 gr.).
- Ready pie is served to the table.
