Pumpkin Pie with Chicken Recipe
Homemade, soft, very tasty pie made of yeast dough with the addition of pumpkin, thanks to which it remains soft for a long time, if, of course, it survives! You can choose the filling to your liking, but chicken meat and cream cheese make the pie juicy and satisfying.

Ingredients
Dough:
- 200 gram Vegetable puree pumpkin
- 350 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 5 gram Dry yeast
- 4 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 50 ml Cream any fat content
- 1 piece Chicken egg beat with a fork
Filling:
- 400 gram Chicken ground ready meat without skin and bones
- 1 tablespoon Dill
- 200 gram Cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika sweet
- Salt to taste
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
For lubrication:
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 1 tablespoon Cream any fat content
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds white and black
Instructions
- Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and bake in a microwave oven. Take the mashed potatoes.
- Mix flour with yeast, salt and sugar. Add butter, pumpkin, egg and cream.
- Knead the dough and put it in a greased form. Put in a warm place for 40 minutes.
- The dough will increase in volume by almost 2 times.
- Mix boiled minced chicken, cream cheese, dill, salt, finely chopped fried onion and paprika.
- Divide the dough into 5 parts. Use your hands to flatten a piece of dough into a 0.5 cm thick strip. Lay out the filling in an even layer.
- Pinch well and roll up the resulting "tube" slightly.
- Cover the mold with a diameter of 26 cm (if there is more, then 30-32 cm) with baking paper. Starting from the center, twist the "tube" with a snail seam down. PS. I twisted it very tight, it's better to do it with a small distance so that the boundaries of the twisted dough are more clearly defined when lifting!
- Do the same with the rest of the dough, connecting the joints well and winding in a circle. It took me 4 parts of the test. In the form of a larger diameter, everything will fit.
- I made buns from the remaining dough and filling.
- Cover the pie with a napkin and put it in the heat for 30 minutes. Beat the egg with cream and grease the cake. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in a preheated 190*C oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Focus on your oven!
- Remove the pie from the mold. Slice. Enjoy your meal.
