Ingredients
Pancakes:
- 12 pieces Pancakes
- Green onions
Filling:
- 3 tablespoons Sunflower oil
- 500 gram Potatoes
- 2 pieces Onion
- Salt
Sauce:
- 100 gram Herring
- 150 gram Sour Cream (15%)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seed
- A mixture of spices
Instructions
- To make pancakes with stuffing, bake pancakes according to your favorite recipe.
- Peel the potatoes, slice and cook until tender. Add salt after boiling, so that it boils faster.
- Peel the onion, cut into cubes. Pour sunflower oil into the pan. Fry the onion over high heat until it is browned, stirring occasionally.
- Drain the broth from the finished potatoes, mash with a "pusher", add the fried onion, mix. If the puree turned out to be dry, then add a little broth.
- Prepare the sauce for the herring. We take salted herring (I have my own), sour cream, lemon and a mixture of peppers.
- Peel the herring, remove the bones and skin, chop very finely, add lemon juice, sour cream and a mixture of freshly ground pepper.
- Add the French mustard with the grains, mix.
- Set aside the finished sauce to infuse.
- Stuff the pancakes. Put mashed potatoes on the edge of the pancake and wrap.
- Pour sunflower oil into the pan. Put the pancakes in a frying pan and fry until browned on both sides.
- Put the finished pancakes on a hot plate. Put the herring sauce on top of the pancakes, sprinkle with finely chopped green onions. Enjoy your meal!
