Ingredients
Cream:
- 150 gram Butter
- 2 pieces Chicken eggs
- 100 gram Sugar
- 40 gram Potato starch
- 2 drops Vanilla essence
- 500 ml Milk
Sponge:
- 90 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 4 tablespoons Water
- 1 piece Banan
- 1 drop Vanilla essence
- 4 pieces Chicken eggs
- 80 gram Sugar
Instructions
- First prepare the custard. Although you can use any cream for these cakes, the main thing is that it is thick. But I really liked this custard, it tastes like ice cream. Take the milk and put it on the fire. You don't need to boil it, just heat it up to a hot state.
- While the milk is heating up, take 2 eggs, add 100 g of sugar, a drop of vanilla extract or vanillin and mix everything with a whisk or mixer.
- Then add the starch and mix everything again.
- We continue to mix and introduce a thin stream of hot milk.
- Then pour everything back and send it to the fire.
- As soon as the cream boils and becomes thick, remove from the heat.
- Cover with cling film and leave to cool to room temperature.
- While the cream cools down, I cook a sponge cake. Everything is cooked very quickly, so you can already turn on the oven to warm up to 190 °. I take 4 eggs, add 80 g of sugar and salt.
- And I start whipping everything with a mixer until it becomes lush.
- That's the state you need to beat the eggs to.
- Then, continuing to beat, enter the water. You don't have to do this, but I like it that way.
- Then I take the flour and sift it through a sieve in three sets.
- You need to mix very carefully. I will not use baking powder, but if desired, you can add it, so the biscuit will turn out more lush.
- I covered the mold with baking paper and smeared it with butter. Pour the dough into the mold.
- Gently spread with a spatula.
- We send it to bake for about 8 minutes, at a temperature of 190 ° C. But you have to focus on your oven.
- We leave the finished biscuit to cool.
- When the biscuit cools down, I cut out circles with a glass. I'll dry the remaining biscuit in the oven and make a crumb.
- Then take the butter and whisk until smooth.
- Then add 1 tablespoon of cream, beating well each time.
- Here is such a thick cream turns out.
- Then I take half a biscuit, smear with cream.
- I put half a banana in the center.
- The second half is also lubricated with cream and put everything together.
- Then I miss the sides well.
- And up the cake.
- Then the side that I smeared with cream, I roll in crumbs. So it is more convenient for me to form cakes.
- I also lubricate the second side. Sprinkle everything well with crumbs.
- And such wonderful cakes turn out.
- Cook according to this recipe. I think you'll like it.
