It’s a good thing to diversify the festive table with a delicious fish snack, since it’s very easy to cook such dishes and it won’t take you much time. On almost any table, fish snacks are in second place after meat. Among them, the most popular are herring, aspic fish, and, of course, fish under marinade. Be sure to try recipes from our chefs.
This pike is fundamentally different from the traditional Jewish dish “gefilte fish” in two ways. Firstly, the fish is baked in the oven, and not boiled, as it should be according to Jewish tradition. Secondly, and this is the most important thing, there is no matzo or breadcrumbs in minced meat, but lard is added to it. The above, however, does not make the dish any less delicious.
This recipe is also from the show “Everything will be delicious”. Now I don’t remember who exactly cooked it. But this fish has been my favorite for years. I’m sure you’ll like it!
Sprat pate made from whole sprats with the addition of red beans, eggs and greens. This is a great snack, and will also serve as an appetizer for a festive table and for unintentionally visiting guests.
We tried this original snack in a Jurmala restaurant. The menu read: “Baltic sushi – lightly salted Baltic herring fillet on mini potatoes, with egg, fresh cucumber and whipped sour cream” The combination of herring with potatoes and egg – what could be tastier! My variation of this snack.
I’ve been cooking this salad for a very long time, but I started serving it in egg tartlets two years ago – as soon as I saw this option of serving another salad on the Internet. I really liked this idea. In these tartlets, you can serve any salad that includes eggs.
