Instructions
- How to whip up a quick pasta with ground meat in a skillet? Gather your essential ingredients. Any type of ground meat will work. Opt for pasta made from durum wheat for best results. It's preferable to use a non-stick skillet. Heat the skillet until it's quite hot and add a small amount of vegetable oil. Next, place the ground meat into the hot skillet and break it apart using a wooden spatula. Sauté the meat for 5-7 minutes.
- Next, add the measured pasta to the skillet and pour in hot water. Season with a pinch of salt and your preferred spices. Stir well and bring it to a boil. Then cover the skillet with a lid and reduce the heat. Let it all simmer for 12-15 minutes until the pasta is cooked. If the water evaporates before the pasta is done and it's still slightly moist, you can add a small amount of hot water to reach the desired consistency.
Recipe Notes
When preparing this dish, it's advisable to use filtered or bottled water that has a neutral taste. If you opt for tap water, be aware that it may impart an undesirable, distinct flavor to the dish.
Important note: The choice of the right frying pan is crucial and can significantly impact the outcome of any recipe.
