Heat the oven to 175* C.
In a large container, mix all the nuts.
In a saucepan with a thick bottom, place all the ingredients for the spicy mixture, stir well and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar begins to dissolve.

Quickly stir the mixture and pour over the nuts, stirring quickly with a spatula so that all the nuts are evenly covered with syrup. Be careful not to get burned!
Lay the nuts on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and place in the oven for 7-10 minutes. Add salt and mix. Allow to cool completely.
Store in a container with a lid in a cool, dry place for up to 3 weeks.
