White Pate with Cashews and Herbs Recipe
Try to make a pate with a delicate texture and nutty flavor. Good for a snack, and will take pride of place on the festive table!

  1. Bean and Chickpeas should be filled with water for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Drain the water. Then pour fresh water and cook until tender, adding salt at the end (beans are cooked for about an hour and a little, chickpeas for about 1.5 hours). I soak and cook separately. Save the water in which the beans and chickpeas were cooked.

  2. Combine beans, chickpeas, chopped greens, chopped garlic and nuts (can be substituted with walnuts or added with cashews). Add spices to taste.
