A simple and very tasty recipe for potatoes with lard (or bacon) on skewers. The potatoes are tender, smoked, with slices of toasted meat (if bacon was used).
Choose medium-sized potatoes and wash them well, you do not need to peel them. The skewer fits 3 pcs. Cut the potatoes into slices, about a little less than a centimeter wide.
Cut the lard (or bacon) into 0.5 cm wide slices. There is a slight difference in the product selection. Bacon will give the same smoked taste, with lard potatoes will turn out more tender.
Arrange the potatoes and bacon in such a way that they alternate. It is advisable to keep the order of the potato slices, so it will be more appetizing and aesthetic to serve.
Place the potatoes on the skewers.
Wrap 2 layers of foil around it.
Potatoes are cooked for 20 minutes in foil, then you need to remove the foil, add salt and pepper and cook for another 10 minutes, so that the potatoes are browned.
