- I had a kilo of new potatoes, which I peeled and cut into halves. Throw in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. after that, we drain the water. Separately, in a frying pan, fry the chopped garlic with chopped parsley in vegetable oil. Filter the fragrant oil through a strainer directly into the potatoes. Add salt, pepper, and curry seasoning if desired.
