I spread the salad on the leaves of oakleaf lettuce. With a more gentle version of the salad, the leaves can be cut directly into the salad.
Finely chop the red onion. For one can of beans, you will need about half a small onion. Pour the soy sauce over the onion and leave to marinate.
Open a can of red beans and drain the liquid. Put the beans, chopped jalapeno and onion in a salad bowl along with the soy sauce. Add mayonnaise and stir. If there is a margin of time, it is better to let the salad brew a little.
