I want to offer you to try spicy string beans in soy sauce, which can be a side dish, as well as an independent dish. The amount of hot pepper can be adjusted to your taste.
Pour boiling water over the beans and leave for a couple of minutes.
Toss in a colander and drain.
Grate the tomato on a coarse grater. If there is no tomato, then you can use sauteed tomatoes, or tomatoes in their own juice.
Mix soy sauce, finely chopped or passed through a press garlic, starch and ground hot pepper, or flakes (if you have fresh hot pepper, then chop finely.)
In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil, add the beans and tomato. Mix well, simmer under the lid for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Then remove the lid, make the heat to the maximum and constantly stirring to bring to a state where there is no liquid left in the pan.
Add the sauce to the pan and cook for about 1-2 minutes over high heat, stirring thoroughly. It is better to use 2 spoons at once for mixing.
Cool down.
