- Potatoes should preferably be the same size, peeled and boiled almost to readiness: potatoes should not be overcooked. I cut the potatoes into two parts, dry them, cut off the tops so that the potatoes can be put on a baking sheet. On the other side of the potato, cut out the middle or put a teaspoon in another bowl to remove the potatoes.
