Many people associate cutlets with meat, but in fact there are many products from which this dish can be prepared no less delicious, satisfying, and even useful. For example, from lentils, which are loved by vegetarians, athletes, and in general connoisseurs of healthy food. Lentil cutlets with cabbage are incredibly juicy, delicious, nutritious, rich in vegetable proteins, slow carbohydrates and other useful things. They are prepared quite quickly.
Soak the lentils in water and leave them overnight. In the morning, we drain the water, and wash the cereals several times (this is for those who are afraid of bloating from legumes). If there are no problems, just rinse under running water.
Boil the lentils until tender.
Onions, carrots are finely chopped and fried until half cooked. Add the chopped cabbage and simmer until tender.
Mash the boiled lentils with a fork, add the fried cabbage, onions and carrots. Add semolina, salt and spices. Mix everything well.
We form small cutlets and fry them in vegetable oil.
Serve the cutlets hot with any side dish.
