Why "Holiday"? I was just cooking on February 23. I love Tom and Jerry cartoons. There often heroes take away from each other a piece of meat with a bone in the middle, especially the dog is not lucky. Here I went to the store - on the counter is almost the same cut as in the cartoon. I couldn't resist buying it. I decided to please myself and my family.
Cut the garlic lengthwise into small pieces, and the onion into half-rings.
Grate the cheese on a large grater.
About the vinegar. I have rice. It's not very sour. I use it quite often. Gives a peculiar taste. Pour as in a barbecue is not necessary, just a little sourness to give.
Just stuff the garlic slices into the meat.
Little advice. The meat is pierced with a knife not from top to bottom, but at an angle. The fibers are better cut and a piece of garlic is more convenient to "shove", does not pop out.
Meat salt, pepper from all sides, who likes-can a little grease the meat with rice vinegar.
At the bottom of the form in which we will bake the meat, put the onion.
Put the meat on the onion.
Cover the form with film or immediately with foil and put it in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Remove the meat from the refrigerator, remove the film, wrap the form with foil and bake in the oven for 1-1. 5 hours.
We take it out and check it for readiness. A little pruned - looked. If the juice is light, without blood - almost ready. (Well, I don't have to teach You.)
Where so much juice came from, I don't know.
Sprinkle the meat with grated cheese and send it to the oven for another 20 minutes.
