  1. Peel the rutabaga, wash the apples and greens. Put a pot of water on the fire and bring to a boil. Add a little salt to the water. Grate the rutabaga on a coarse grater, flip it into a colander (or sieve) and boil in salted boiling water. While the rutabaga is cooling, peel the apples and cut into strips.
