Salad with smoked Mackerel and spicy Dressing Recipe
It is rare when a festive table is complete without fish salads. And it's hard to imagine a New Year's feast without such salads. I offer my own version of a simple but very tasty salad. Fragrant spicy dressing and cooked peeled vegetables give the salad a new interesting taste.
Servings 6
Cook Time 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 piece Mackerel (smoked)
- 3 pieces Potatoes
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1/2 pieces Apple
- 2-3 tablespoons Horseradish
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 100 ml Cream
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- Allspice to taste
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Wash and peel the vegetables. Install the dicing nozzle. Cut the potatoes into slices, put them in a form suitable for a microwave oven, and fill with cold water. Drain and fill with fresh water.
- Also cut carrots and onions into cubes using a food processor. Add the carrots to the potatoes and cook in the microwave for 5 minutes under the lid. Don't forget to leave a gap for steam to escape.
- Put the finished vegetables on a sieve and pour cold water so that they stop cooking. Dry.
- Add salt to the onion and fry in oil in a frying pan until transparent.
- Put the cooled vegetables and onions in a bowl and add the smoked mackerel, disassembled into pieces.
- For dressing, mix horseradish with finely grated sour apple, pour lemon juice, salt to taste. Mix with heavy cream and mayonnaise until light and smooth.
- Season the salad with sauce. Put it in a salad bowl and garnish with herbs.
- And serve.
