My favorite way of cooking zucchini is that they are delicious both hot and cold; and as an independent dish, and as a side dish to meat. They are easy to prepare and require a minimum of ingredients.

  1. Peel and core the zucchini, cut into half rings and add salt.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the pieces over high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until a light blush appears. Turn on the oven at the same time so that it warms up to a temperature of 180*C.
