Baked Cabbage, stuffed with Cheese and Meat Recipe

Cut the cabbage head vertically in half and boil the halves in boiling salted water, 20 min. Turn the cut down on the grid and let the water drain, 10 min.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 160 °C. Finely chop the onion and garlic, sauté in 2 tbsp butter 5 min. Mix with mince, add the egg and cheese, stir to combine, season with salt and pepper.
Stuff the resulting mixture of cabbage halves between the leaves. Wrap each half of the cabbage head from the bottom in oiled foil so that the incision remains open, and place in a baking dish. Put in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, drizzle with butter (about 2 tbsp on each half), and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Serve the cabbage hot.
