Filling:
- 100 gram Minced meat
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Tomato
- 1 piece Bulgarian pepper
- 0,5 bunch Greens
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 0,5 teaspoon Cumin
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pour warm water into the dough bowl, add sugar and yeast, pour out 0.5 cups of flour. Mix with a whisk and leave for 10 minutes. It should foam up.
- Add salt, butter and flour carefully in parts. Adding flour, we look at the consistency of the dough, as soon as it stops sticking to your hands - there is enough flour. You should get an "earlobe". Cover the dough and leave it to approach. After 30 minutes, we grind it and let it come up again.
- For the filling, we take all the vegetables about the same medium size. Finely chop them, add the remaining ingredients. From the greens I have: parsley, dill, mint. You can add hot pepper. Zira is the secret taste of Turkish minced meat dishes, it should be ground.
- Carefully knead the minced meat. At this stage, we turn on the oven to heat up to 220-230 degrees.
- From the dough, we tear off the pieces immediately on a baking sheet. I open by dividing by 2. From this amount, you will get two baking sheets of 16 pieces each.
- We soak our fingers in vegetable oil and shape them into cakes with a diameter of 5-6 cm and a thickness of 2-3 mm.
- Spread the filling evenly and immediately send it to the oven for 7 minutes at 230 degrees.
- Served hot with lemon and parsley. Lemon and parsley extinguish the fat content and muffle the taste of onion and garlic in the filling.
- After cooling, it can be stored in the freezer, heated in the oven, microwave or on the grill.
- Bon Appetit!
