This is the perfect lemon pie with a bright citrus note, moderately sweet, very tasty and fragrant. It is prepared simply, and if desired, you can beat it in your own way, cover it with cream and it will sparkle with new colors and will look like a cake, you can add steamed poppy seeds to the dough, the taste of the cake will be enriched. Take the recipe as a basis and the pie will not let you down.
Wash the lemons, dry them, grate the zest with 2 lemons.
With a mixer, beat the eggs with sugar into a fluffy mass. Add the melted butter in the microwave, yogurt, grated zest, stir well.
Sift the flour with baking powder and combine with the liquid mass, stir until smooth dough. A form with a diameter of 22 cm, grease with oil, sprinkle with flour, shake off the excess.
Put the dough in the form and bake at 160 * plus / minus 60 minutes until dry matches, taking into account the features of your oven. The cake turns out to be lush, with a cap.
You can leave the cap, it is already a full-fledged fragrant pie, but you can go further, cut off the cap from the pie and decorate it to your taste. My cap was literally taken from under my nose... and immediately ate.
For new year's decor with 1-2 lemons peeler cut the zest and cut into thin strips.
Lemon straw pour cold water and put on the fire, bring to a boil, drain the water, re-pour cold water, again bring to a boil and drain the water. Repeat 3-4 times to remove the bitterness.
Add to the zest 70 ml of water and sugar, by weight as much as the zest. Cook for 30 minutes until the syrup. Get the zest with a slotted spoon. In the remaining syrup, squeeze the juice from 2 lemons, add more sugar to your taste, bring to a boil. Pierce the pie with a toothpick and soak the resulting syrup.
I finished the cake sprinkled with powdered sugar and put the zest on it.
