Mix the minced meat with the onion, salt and pepper and cook in a pan with a little water and oil until tender. Cook under the lid, stirring occasionally.
Cook 1 Cup of buckwheat and 1.5 cups of water until tender. I usually cook for 10 minutes and let it stand under the lid without removing it from the stove (the gas is turned off!) for 10-15 minutes.
