Colcannon or Mashed Potatoes in Irish Recipe

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces and boil in salted water until tender. Finely chop the cabbage and boil until soft, about 10 minutes.

  2. Fry the onion in a frying pan for 1 minute in melted butter (30 grams). Make mashed potatoes from boiled potatoes, butter (30 g) and milk. Add a pinch of nutmeg and ground pepper. Add cabbage and onion to the puree. Place on a platter with a slide, make a recess in the center and pour the remaining melted butter there. You can decorate with greenery. Enjoy your meal!
